You don’t need to enable Let’s Encrypt yourself. As soon as you place a domain on one of our web platforms – Unix, Boost, Autobahn or Windows – a free SSL/TLS certificate from Let’s Encrypt is activated automatically, usually within an hour. After that, you adapt your site’s links to https (see below). Last checked: 2026-09-30.
If your website is already on one of our web platforms, the Let’s Encrypt certificate is already installed and active, and you don’t need to do anything.
How do I adapt my site’s links for https?
If your site is built in plain HTML, it is usually enough to choose Force SSL for your domain under Configuration in the Loopia Customer Zone. If that isn’t enough, go through the site’s HTML code and change all http links to https.

How can I see that my site has SSL via Let’s Encrypt?
Since every domain has SSL activated by default, it isn’t currently shown in the Loopia Customer Zone. See How do I know if I have Let’s Encrypt on my website? for how to check and troubleshoot your site.
I already have an SSL/TLS certificate I bought from you – will it be removed?
No, you keep your commercial SSL/TLS certificate for as long as you want. A purchased certificate includes support and a warranty from the certificate issuer and is recommended for, for example, online shops. If the commercial certificate is removed in the Customer Zone, Let’s Encrypt is activated automatically for that domain within about an hour.
