Restore access to admin user and renew GDAP connection

This guide shows how to restore access to your admin user and renew the GDAP connection, allowing you to manage your Microsoft 365 service via Loopia Customer Zone (https://www.loopia.se/loggain/). Learn more about what GDAP is by clicking here.


Step 1: Preperation


  1. Log in to Loopia Kundzon:

    Go to https://www.loopia.se/loggain/ and log in.

  2. Download the identification text:
    • Scroll down to the Services heading and locate Microsoft 365.
    • Note the identification text to the right of the line, for example loopia1234567. Write down the text as you will need it later.

Step 2: Reset the password for the admin user

  1. Sign in to Microsoft 365:
    • Click the Microsoft 365 service in the list and select Sign in to Microsoft 365.
    • Enter the email address admin@loopia1234567.onmicrosoft.com (replace loopia1234567  with the text you noted earlier). Click on Next.
  2. Forgot password:
    • Click on I forgot my password.
    • Verify that you are not a robot by entering the characters shown in the image. Then click on Next.
  3. Verification Step 1 – Email:
    • Select Send email to my alternate email address.
    • Note the clue about which email address is used. Click on Email.
    • Check your inbox for the alternate email address, write down the verification code and fill it in the field. Click on Next.
  4. Verification Step 2 – Phone:
    • Select Call my work phone.
    • Check the clue for the phone number. Click on Call.
    • Answer the call, note the verification code and fill it in the field. Click on Next
  5. Reset password:
    • Create a new password and confirm it. Complete the process.
    • Write down the new email address and password.

Step 3: Renew the GDAP connection

  1. Log in to Loopia Kundzon again:
    • Go to https://www.loopia.se/loggain/ and log in.
    • Under Services, click Microsoft 365.
  2. Grant admin permissions:
    • In the dialog box that appears under the heading Admin permissions pending approval, click Confirm.
  3. Complete in Microsoft 365:
    • You will be redirected to the Microsoft login page. Log in with the admin user and the new password.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to approve the new GDAP connection.
