This article explains how to transfer an existing Microsoft 365 tenant from another reseller (CSP partner) to Loopia AB, so that you can buy and manage your Microsoft 365 licences through your Loopia account.
Before you contact Loopia
Before we can start the transfer, please make sure you have the following information ready:
- Your Loopia customer number in the format
FAXX-XX-XX-XXXX. - The domain name currently used with your Microsoft 365 tenant. This domain must be present in your Loopia account.
- The name of your Microsoft 365 tenant (the
.onmicrosoft.comaddress), if known.
How to request the transfer
Contact Loopia’s technical support at support@loopia.se and include the information listed above. Our support team will then guide you through the transfer process, which involves accepting a partner relationship request from Loopia in your Microsoft 365 admin centre.
Important things to know
- Do not order new licences from Loopia before the transfer is confirmed. Wait until our support team has confirmed that the Microsoft service has been successfully transferred to us.
- Existing licences are not transferred. Licences purchased from your previous provider remain with that provider and will be cancelled at the end of their term. You will need to order new licences from Loopia once the transfer is complete.
- Your data and users are kept. The transfer changes only the billing relationship – your mailboxes, files, users and tenant data stay in place.
