How to create a mailing list in the webmail

This guide shows how to create a mailing list (also known as a group) directly in the Loopia webmail. A mailing list lets you send a single message to many recipients at once without typing each address.

Step 1: Save your contacts in the address book

Before you can build a mailing list, the email addresses you want to include must exist in your address book.

Open the Address Book from the top-right menu in the webmail, then click the icon to create a new contact in the bottom-left corner. Repeat for every address you want to add.

Click the plus button at the bottom-left of the address book window.

Step 3: Add contacts to the group

Select the address list you want to pull contacts from — usually Personal Addresses. Select the contacts you want and drag them into your new group.

A confirmation message appears in the webmail once the contacts have been added.

Step 4: Send a message to the group

Open a new message in the webmail. In the Recipient field, type the first few letters of the group’s name — the webmail suggests the group, with the number of email addresses shown in parentheses.
