The following naming rules apply to the domain names you can register through Loopia. Each top-level domain (TLD) has its own restrictions on length, valid characters and reserved names. For price information, see www.loopia.com/domainnames/.

.SE
- Valid characters are a-z, å, ä, ö, ü, é, æ, ø, 0-9, “-“.
- Cannot begin or end with “-“.
- Two characters followed by “–” is not allowed, except for ACE-encoded IDN domain names.
- At least 2 and a maximum of 63 characters (not including .se).
- A number of domain names are blocked from registration; see the list at .SE.
.EU
- A number of domain names are blocked. For more information, see www.eurid.eu.
- Valid characters are a-z, å, ä, ö, ü, é, 0-9, “-“.
- Cannot begin or end with “-“.
- Two characters followed by “–” is not allowed, except for ACE-encoded IDN domain names.
- At least 2 and a maximum of 63 characters (not including .eu).
.NU
- Rules
- Valid characters are a-z, å, ä, ö, ü, é, 0-9, “-“.
- Cannot begin or end with “-“.
- Cannot contain only numbers and/or “-“.
- Two characters followed by “–” is not allowed, except for ACE-encoded IDN domain names.
- At least 3 and a maximum of 63 characters (not including .nu).
.COM

.TV

.NAME
- Valid characters are a-z, 0-9, “-“.

.DK

.PL
- Valid characters are a-z, å, ä, ö, ü, é, 0-9, “-“.
- Cannot begin or end with “-“.
- Two characters followed by “–” is not allowed, except for ACE-encoded IDN domain names.
- At least 3 and a maximum of 63 characters (not including .pl).
.CO.UK and .ORG.UK
- Rules

- Valid characters are a-z, 0-9, “-“.
- Cannot begin or end with “-“.
- Two characters followed by “-” is not allowed.
- Domain names with only two characters must contain at least one digit.
- At least 2 characters (with the rule above) and up to 64 characters including .co.uk or .org.uk.
- According to Nominet this will change in the future, so the limit becomes up to 63 characters excluding .co.uk and .org.uk.
