How it works
Install a DNS client (an update program) on your computer or server. The client watches your IP address, and as soon as it changes, sends the new address to LoopiaDNS automatically. Our DNS servers update immediately, so your domain always points to the right place.
This is useful if you:
- Use a VPN or remote desktop via your own domain
- Run a web server at home
- Want to remotely access a NAS or other device
Getting started
- Prepare your domain for DynDNS support.
- Choose and install a DNS client on your computer or server.
- Enter your details in the client so it can update LoopiaDNS automatically.
We can’t guarantee every DynDNS client works with LoopiaDNS, but the most common ones we’ve tested work without issues.
