This guide explains how to remove a LoopiaVPS (virtual private server) service from your Loopia Customer Zone when you no longer need it.
Before you start: unpaid invoices
Note: If you have an unpaid invoice for your VPS service, you will first need to contact our finance team at ekonomi@loopia.se so that the invoice can be cancelled. You cannot remove a VPS from the Customer Zone while an invoice for it is still outstanding.
Open the LoopiaVPS service
Log in to your Customer Zone and click LoopiaVPS under Services.
Turn off the VPS
If the VPS status is running, you need to turn it off first. Click Turn off and confirm by clicking Yes under Yes, you are sure.
Delete the VPS
Refresh the page and click LoopiaVPS under Services again. The Delete button is now active — click it to remove your VPS.
If you have an unpaid invoice for your VPS service, please contact our customer support so that the invoice can be removed before you delete the VPS from your Customer Zone.
