On December 27, 2023, our regular prices for new orders and renewals of our DNS, hosting accounts and some of the top-level domains we offer will be adjusted.
Why are the prices being adjusted?
Answer: At Loopia, we strive to deliver simple and worry-free services of high quality with top-notch customer support. However, events in the world continue to impact the market more than we would like. At Loopia, we are dedicated to continuously developing, maintaining, and improving our services to always provide you with the best. We continue to invest in supporting your needs through stable data centers and innovative services, while aiming to provide more secure services in a sustainable environment. We choose to make this ongoing investment today despite the situation with inflation and the unstable political situation in and outside of Europe.
We believe that sustainability, stability, security, and top-notch customer support in Swedish are key to maintaining a higher quality of services we deliver to you. In this context, it is necessary to adjust the prices for some of our services to meet the above requirements.
When will the new prices take effect?
The new prices will take effect upon the renewal of your service from the earliest on December 27, 2023. In connection with the renewal of your subscription, you will be invoiced.
Which services are affected by this price adjustment?
Answer: You can find all services that receive a new price at the bottom of this document. The price you see on that list is what will appear on your next invoice.
Can I renew my services now at the old price?
Answer: Inside your Loopia customer zone, you can renew domain names for multiple years if this service is offered. The important thing is to do this before December 27th. If you want to renew your account (Web hosting/Email/DNS) for multiple years, you can contact ekonomi@loopia.se for assistance.

Will I have to pay anything extra if my services with you are renewed long after December 27, 2023?
Answer: No. The new price applies only when your service is up for renewal. The already paid period remains unaffected. The new price will be reflected on your upcoming invoice, which will be sent to you at least 45 days before the renewal date.
How do I know when it’s time to renew my services?
Answer: Log in to your customer zone as usual. On your recent invoice, you will see the applicable period. For domain names, you can also find this information in the list of domain names in your customer zone/control panel. The renewal date is the first day after the period covered by your latest invoice. You won’t miss it because we will send your next invoice at least 45 days before the renewal date. Of course, you will still have the option to cancel or modify your subscription as desired.
Will any service change with the price adjustment?
Answer: No. The change only affects the price of your subscription, not the service or its functionalities. The service you subscribed to will remain the same. The price adjustment is made to maintain the same high quality for your service and to continue offering you top-notch Swedish support.
Do I need to do anything?
Answer: You don’t need to do anything. The new price will automatically come into effect on the renewal date, and you will be able to see it on your next invoice at least 45 days in advance. Before the renewal, you can always modify or cancel your subscription if you wish. You can do this within your customer zone/control panel with us.
Can I change the duration or level of my services?
Answer: Yes. You can always modify your current services if you wish and choose a different solution that suits you better directly in the customer zone. If you wish to make changes before the subscription you have paid for expires, the modification will take effect on the first day of your renewal if your upcoming invoice is paid.
Will you change the prices for my services even more in the future?
Answer: Our prices are always guaranteed for your paid period. For example, if you choose to subscribe for 12 months, no price adjustment will apply during this period, even if prices for the same service increase for new customers. We continually review and systematically invest in the technology and data centers that enable us to offer sustainable, secure, and stable services at the most reasonable price possible. In the current context of inflation and an unstable political situation in Europe and the rest of the world, no one can predict how costs will change in the future, but we are committed to always balancing our prices to be a reliable and transparent partner. Your best insurance against future price adjustments is the length of your subscription.
