Adding your partners’ logos to your website is a great way to strengthen your business’s credibility. To add logos or certification badges to your site, use the Logo wall block – designed specifically for showing the companies you work with, or badges and certificates your business has earned over the years.
Note: using a logo without permission may constitute trademark infringement and could lead to lost customers or even legal action. Make sure you have permission to use a company’s logo.
Adding a Logo wall block
- Choose where you want the block and click Add a block (+).
- In the Block library, select Logo wall to see the ready-made layouts.
- Click the layout you like to add it to your page.
Customising the block settings
Click the block, then the Block settings icon. The menu has two tabs: Layout and Appearance.
In the Layout tab you can choose which elements appear – remove the blue tick next to an element to hide it.
In the Appearance tab you can change:
- Block style: the block’s colour scheme.
- Block spacing: the white space (margins) above and below the block.
- Media content settings: add a black-and-white filter to the images in the block.
Click Save when done.
Replacing demo logos
- Click the logo you want to change, then click Replace image.
- Choose the new logo image on your computer and click Open.
- To quickly resize the logo, drag the resize handle.
Publish your site once you’ve replaced the logos.
Adding more logos
To add more logos, duplicate any logo and then add a new image. Hover over a logo to activate its control panel and click Duplicate – a copy appears to the right, and a new row is added to the logo wall automatically.
Reordering logos
- Hover over the logo you want to move to activate its controls.
- Click Move, then drag and drop the element along the row to where you want it.
Setting a click action for a logo
You can set a click action for any logo – useful if you want visitors to go to your partner’s website when they click the logo. Available click actions:
- Open a page: opens a page on your site.
- Make a phone call: lets visitors call a number when they click the logo.
- Send an email: opens the visitor’s email client to send you a message.
- Download a file: lets visitors download a file.
- Scroll to a block: takes visitors to another block on the page.
- Open a web address: opens an external URL.
- Right-click the logo you want to link and click Set a click action.
- Choose and configure the click action – it works the same way as for images.
- Click Save and publish your site.
Setting a logo title (alt text)
Alt text describes the appearance and function of an image for visually impaired visitors and search engines.
- Right-click the logo and click Change alt title.
- Enter the Image title (alt text) and click Save.
- Publish your site to make the change live.
Deleting a logo
Hover over the logo to activate its controls and click Delete. The logo is removed and the design adjusts automatically.
