You add a logo to the header in Loopia Sitebuilder by ticking Business logo in the Header block’s Block settings and replacing the sample logo with your own file. When you upload a logo in the header, it’s automatically added to the footer too. The logo must be .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif or .svg, and no larger than 250 x 250 px.
A logo gives your site a professional look and is a great way to represent your business – people tend to remember images better than text, and an eye-catching logo helps you stand out.
Turning on a logo in the Header block
Most templates already have a logo turned on in the header. If your template doesn’t, you can add one manually:
- Hover over the Header block to activate its control panel, then click the Block settings icon.
- In the Layout tab, tick Business logo. A sample placeholder appears next to the site name.
- Click Save to confirm.
Replacing the logo
- Click the logo image to show the Replace image icon, then click it.
- Choose your logo file on your computer and click Open.
The logo is uploaded immediately. When you upload the logo in the header, it’s automatically uploaded to the footer as well, so you don’t need to do it twice.
Resizing the logo
Click the logo and drag the resize handle to make it larger or smaller. The header height adjusts automatically.
Adding a logo to the Footer block
Since the header logo is automatically added to the footer, you only need to turn it on if your template doesn’t show it by default:
- Hover over the footer to activate its control panel, then click Block settings.
- In the Layout tab, tick Business logo.
- Click Save to confirm.
You can resize the footer logo by dragging the resize handle in the bottom right corner of the image.
Which file formats are supported for the logo?
Sitebuilder supports these formats for your logo: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif and .svg. The maximum size is 250 x 250 px.
These formats can’t be used: .ico, .tiff, .pdf, .zip, .doc, .txt and .rar.
A few extra tips:
- Create your logo in the RGB colour model (red, green and blue).
- Ideally, give your logo a transparent background so it looks professional in transparent headers where the background image shows through.
