You delete a page in Loopia Sitebuilder from the Page Manager by clicking the bin icon next to it. Deleting a page is permanent, so think it through first.
Before you delete a page
- Deleting a page removes all of its content.
- Deleted pages can’t be restored unless you back up your site just before deleting.
- If you might need the page later, you can make it harder to reach by hiding it from your site’s navigation instead. Note that the page can still appear in search results.
- If you want to delete your homepage, set a new homepage first and then follow the steps below.
Note: deleting a page also deletes its link (URL). Anyone visiting the old link gets a 404 error, which can harm your position in Google’s search results.
Deleting a page
- Click Pages in Sitebuilder’s top menu to open the Page Manager.
- Find the page you want to delete.
- Click the bin icon next to the page.
- In the next window, confirm that you want to delete the page and click Submit.
The page no longer appears in your list of pages. Click Publish to apply the change.
