How do you hide a page link from the navigation in Loopia Sitebuilder?

You might want to hide a page link from your navigation so that only some visitors see it – for example, for a special event or a limited-time offer. In Loopia Sitebuilder you can choose not to add the link to the navigation menu when you create the page, or hide an existing page link.

Opting out when creating the page

1. Click Pages in the top bar to open the Page Manager.
2. Click the (+) button to open the Add page window.
3. When adding the page, untick Show in navigation.
4. Click Submit to save.

Note: the page is still accessible to visitors via its direct URL.

Hiding an existing page link from the navigation menu

You can remove an existing page link from the navigation menu in two ways.

Via the Page Manager

1. Click Pages in the top bar to open the Page Manager.
2. Find the page in the list and click the Settings icon next to it to open Page settings.
3. On the General tab, untick Show in navigation.
4. Click Submit to save.

Note: to show the page in the navigation again, go back to Page settings, tick Show in navigation and click Submit. You can also use Undo to reverse the action.

Via Navigation settings

1. Click the navigation area in the header to activate the Navigation settings menu.
2. Click the folder tree icon to open Navigation settings.
3. Find the page link you want to remove and click the bin icon next to it.
4. Click Submit to save.

Note: you can undo this in Sitebuilder right up until you publish your site.
