Sitebuilder lets you create a website with multiple pages. With the Page Manager, you can add, rename, delete and change the status of pages. This article covers creating pages, renaming them and choosing which page is your homepage.
Creating a new page
Add new pages via the Page Manager: click Pages in the top bar, then the (+) Add page button, choose a page template (or a blank page), give it a name and click Submit.
Duplicating a page
To make a copy of a page, hover over it in the Page Manager and click the Copy icon.
Renaming a page
You change a page’s name in Page settings: hover over the page in the Page Manager, click the Settings icon, and edit the Page name field on the General tab.
Searching for a page
If you have many pages, use the search field in the Page Manager. Type the page name and you’ll see it in the search results.
Setting a new homepage
The homepage is your site’s main page and usually acts as a table of contents for the site. You can set any page on your site as the homepage:
- Open the Page Manager by clicking Pages in Sitebuilder’s top menu.
- Hover over the page you want as your new homepage and click the house icon.
The old homepage stays in the navigation. You need to republish your site for the change to take effect.
Adding a page to the site’s navigation
You can add a link to any page in the navigation menu in the header, either by ticking Show in navigation in the page’s settings or via Navigation settings.
