How do you add animated GIF images to your website in Loopia Sitebuilder?

You can add a bit of movement to your page with animated GIF images (.gif). They work well for showing products from different angles, adding a moving image with an offer, or creating a short clip without embedding a video file.

Adding an animated GIF

1. Click the image you want to replace with a GIF to activate the image controls.
2. Click the Upload image icon, then choose Upload a file from the dropdown menu.
3. When your file browser opens, find the GIF, click it, then click Open. Within a few seconds the GIF is uploaded into the image frame.

Customising your GIF

Once uploaded, the animated GIF may not fit the frame perfectly. You can adjust its position the same way as regular images – cropping, resizing and changing the focal point.

Note: animated images add movement and context to a page, but we recommend using them sparingly.
