You can forward (redirect) WWW traffic for any domain name registered with Loopia directly from the Loopia Customer Zone (kundzon, account dashboard). This guide explains the two forwarding options available, when to use each, and how to set them up step by step.
Get started
Log in to Loopia Customer Zone and select the domain name you want to forward. If you want the same page to be displayed for the domain both with and without the www prefix, tick the box Synchronize the domain and subdomain www.
You can choose between two forwarding methods: Forward (which keeps your domain name visible in the browser) and URL Forward (which displays the target URL instead).
Forward (frame forwarding)
This option forwards your visitors to the target address through a frame page hosted with us. The domain name stays visible in the browser address bar. You can also specify a title and meta information for search engines.
Click Forward. The following information can then be entered.

- Target — The address to forward your visitors to (required). For example: http://www.yourdomain.com/~page/
- Title — The title shown in the browser tab for your visitors (optional).
- Keywords — Keywords (meta-data) for your address (optional). These become part of the meta tags generated for your address.
- Description — A short description (meta-data) for your address (optional). This becomes part of the meta tags generated for your address.
URL Forward (redirect)
This option forwards visitors directly to the specified target. The target URL is shown in the browser address bar.
- Target — The address to forward your visitors to (required). For example: http://www.yourdomain.com/~page/
- Type — Choose Pass on (302) to indicate that the website temporarily has a new address, or Page moved (301) to indicate that the website has permanently moved to a new address.
Save your forwarding
When you have completed the steps above, click Save. You have now created a redirection of WWW traffic for your domain name.
