A click-to-call link lets visitors click or tap a phone number, button or image to call your business directly from their phone or computer – without having to copy and paste the number. In Sitebuilder you set this up by adding your business phone number as a clickable link with the Make a phone call action.
Adding a click-to-call link to text, images and buttons
You can turn any part of your content, including images and buttons, into a clickable call link. Assign the Make a phone call action to:
- Text – select the text and click the Link icon in the control panel to open Link settings.
- Images – click the image to activate its control panel and click the gear icon to open Media settings. The Click action settings are at the bottom of the menu.
- Buttons – hover over or click the button and click the Link icon to open Link settings.
Choose Make a phone call as the action, enter your phone number and save. Publish your site to make the change live.
Note: if you serve an international customer base, include the country code so your customers always reach the right destination.
