Loopia Sitebuilder’s AI features help you quickly create and update content in individual blocks, so your site reflects your business and any changes to it. You can use AI to:
- Generate content for a new block
- Change a block’s type (for example, from Services to Gallery)
- Regenerate the content of an existing block
The AI uses your business information as its basis, and in some cases an extra instruction you give for a specific block.
Regenerating block content
The Generate button is available on every block, including the header and Custom blocks.
- In Loopia Sitebuilder, hover over the block you want to change to activate its controls.
- Click the blue Generate button in the top right of the block.
- In the Generate block window, choose a block type from the dropdown.
- If you keep the same type, the AI generates a new variant of the same kind of block.
- If you choose a different type, the AI converts the current block to the new type.
- Click Generate to create the new block content.
Example: if you’re working on a Services block and choose Gallery from the dropdown, the AI generates a Gallery block based on the business information you entered when creating the site.
Using extra instructions for specific blocks
For some blocks – especially those with several items or columns – an extra input field appears in the Generate block window. Use it to give the AI more specific guidance, for example:
- For a Services block: list the services you offer.
- For a Products block: list product names or categories.
The block generator takes this extra information into account alongside your business information.
For an About us block
The input field shows your current business description from your business information. You can edit it and generate the block from the updated text. The updated text is only used for this block and doesn’t overwrite your general business information.
Note: you can undo with Undo or Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac).
Remember that content is generated from your business profile – you may need to update it for the best results, under Main menu → Settings → Business information.
If you didn’t fill in your business profile during setup, the Business information window opens when you click Generate. Fill in your details and click Submit and generate to see the new version of your block.
Once you’ve generated your blocks, you can use the AI Text Assistant to refine the text further if needed.
