Loopia Sitebuilder can generate a draft homepage for you with AI, based on details you give about your business in a six-step setup. This gets your online presence up and running quickly. Remember that while the AI helps with content and ideas, you’ll need to fine-tune the site yourself to get it exactly how you want it.
You can skip some steps, but the more information you give, the better the AI can tailor the content to your needs – and the more personal your site will be.
Step 1. General
Setup starts with the General site setup guide, where you choose what kind of website to create and which template to use. You then give your site a name and choose its language – and the AI takes over.
Note: the language you choose in step 3 of the general site setup becomes your site’s main language. The AI uses it when generating your site’s content. You can change it later if needed.
You’ll see a banner inviting you to use AI to create your site’s content. You can opt out by clicking the X in the top right and use a regular template with demo content instead. Bear in mind that only Sitebuilder Large users can restart generation for an existing site after closing the dialog.
If you want to go ahead, click the blue Generate site with AI button to start the six-step AI setup.
Step 2. Describe your business
Here you enter the business name to use in the editor (if it differs from the site name in the previous step) and add a business description.
The business description is crucial for creating a useful version of your site – make it as detailed as possible, within 1,000 characters including spaces. Click Continue when you’re happy with it.
Step 3. Upload your logo
Upload your logo and it’s placed automatically in the relevant places on your site.
- Click Upload logo to choose the file from your device.
- When you’re done, click Continue.
Click Skip if you need more time to work on your logo – you can add it in the editor after the site has been generated.
Step 4. Add contact details
Fill in your contact details once, save them, and they’re placed automatically across your site – in the header, footer and various pre-designed block types.
Your registered email address is already filled in, and you can change it now or later in the editor. You can also fill in your address, phone number and opening hours here, but it’s optional. Click Continue to go to the next step.
Step 5. Social media links
Add links to your social media once and they’re saved and used everywhere relevant on your site.
- Add as many as you like by clicking Add another link. To remove a link, click the bin icon next to it.
- Click Continue to go to the final step.
Step 6. Summary
Review the details you’ve entered one last time. You can go back and change or add anything. When you’re happy, click Generate site and watch your site being created.
Once your homepage is ready, you can also use AI to generate content for new pages and for individual blocks.
