How do I change the owner of my hosting account?

At Loopia, you can quickly and easily change the ownership of your hosting account through the Loopia Customer Zone (kundzon, account dashboard). This guide shows you how to start the owner change and what the new owner needs to do to finish it.

Start the owner change

Log in to Loopia Customer Zone and go to Account settingsChange owner of account or domain, then click Start owner change.

Select The entire Loopia account including domain names and click Next.

Enter the new owner’s details

The next step is to enter the new owner’s information (name, address, contact details and organisation number if applicable).

Some types of domain names require that you print and sign transfer forms. If this applies to your transfer, the forms are prefilled and ready to print on the next page.

The new owner confirms the change

At the same time, an email message is sent to the new owner with a link to confirm the owner change and approve our agreements. Once the new owner has done this, just sit back and wait until the transfer is completed.
