.SE domains registered to inactive companies – this is what you need to do

This is the English version of an email sent to you who have a .SE domain registered to an inactive company.

You need to change the holder of your domain before May 31

You have one or more domains in your Loopia account registered to an inactive company. Therefore you need to transfer the domain name and all services to a new holder. If you have not done so before May 31, 2024, the Swedish Internet Foundation will deactivate the domain name according to §6.1.5 of the Terms and conditions of registration for the top-level domain .se.

This is how you change ownership of a domain:

1. Log in to your Loopia Customer Zone
2. Click on Account Settings → Change holder of account or domain
3. Fill in all the information and sign

Who can sign an owner change?

• In case of bankruptcy: The bankruptcy trustee
• In case of liquidation: The liquidator
• In case of merger: Authorized signatory for the acquiring company
• In case of deregistration: Former board members of the company

You also need to submit documentation to prove authorization to registry@loopia.se.
