The Team block in Loopia Sitebuilder presents your team members and adds a valuable personal touch to your website. It has everything you need to show off each person’s unique skills, expertise and personality.
Adding a Team block
- Find a suitable place for your Team block and click Add a block (+).
- In the Block library, go to the Team tab (scroll down or use the search field) and click a layout that suits you.
The chosen layout appears on your page.
Customising the block settings
Hover over the block and click the Block settings icon.
In the Layout tab you can switch to a different Team block layout or hide specific elements – remove the blue tick next to an element (for example a button) to hide it.
In the Appearance tab you can change:
- Block style: the block’s colour scheme.
- Block spacing: the spacing above and below the block.
- Media content location: whether the image sits on the left or right.
- Vertical alignment: the vertical alignment of the content in the block.
- Horizontal alignment: left or centre alignment of the text in the column.
- Content layout: the number of items per row.
- Content style: add a border or shadow to make elements stand out.
- Media content settings: add a black-and-white filter to the images.
Note: not every option is available in every layout – Vertical alignment only appears in layouts with a single image, and Horizontal alignment only in layouts with several images.
Click Save when you’re done.
Editing images
- Click a team member’s demo image to activate the controls.
- Click Upload image and choose whether to upload an image from your computer or browse free stock photos.
- Once you’ve swapped the image, adjust its size by clicking the Crop icon and moving the slider.
You can also use the Media settings icon, which opens a window where you can swap and crop the image and add an image title and click action. Click Save to apply the changes.
Editing job titles and descriptions
Add a short bio and job description for each member by clicking the text element and typing, or copy and paste existing descriptions from your text editor. You can also change heading size, add numbered and bulleted lists and change text alignment.
Duplicating and moving the Team block
To try a different layout without losing the current one, click Duplicate and an identical block appears below. This is also handy if you need more team members – duplicate your block and remove the heading from the copy. Use the arrow icons in the control panel to move blocks up and down.
Deleting the Team block or its elements
To remove a team member, hover over the element and click the Delete icon. To delete the whole block, click Delete in the block’s control panel. You can undo these actions by clicking Undo or pressing Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows).
