Blocks in Loopia Sitebuilder are made up of pre-built elements – text, images, icons, buttons, columns and more – all highly customisable. You can add, edit and remove most elements inside a block. Each block type has its own set of elements, but they share some standard customisations: duplicating, moving and removing elements, editing images and icons, and creating text links.
Duplicating block elements
In grid-layout blocks (Services, Products, Team, News, Pricing, Testimonials, Schedule, FAQ, Logo wall, Columns and Counters) you can add more similar elements by duplicating existing ones:
- Hover over the element you want to duplicate to activate its control panel.
- Click Duplicate to create a copy.
Note: elements reposition automatically and keep the margins between them, preserving your site’s clean look.
Switching block layout and element position
For two-column blocks (an image on one side, other elements on the other) you can mirror the layout in Block settings:
- Hover over the block to activate the control panel.
- Click the Settings icon, then go to the Appearance tab.
- Scroll to Media content position and switch the radio button to left or right.
- Click Save to confirm.
You can also swap similar elements within a layout by dragging and dropping them.
Hiding block elements
Almost every block element can be removed – text, buttons, images, icons, containers, maps and so on. The easiest way is via the element’s control panel: click the element and click Hide. You’ll be taken to the Layout tab in Block settings with that element unticked. Tick it again to bring it back, manage other elements there too, and click Save when done.
To remove just one element from a group, hover over it and click the bin icon. The remaining elements reposition automatically.
You can also remove elements via Block settings:
- Hover over the block and click the gear icon to open Block settings.
- In the Layout tab, find Block elements and untick the element you want to remove.
- Click Save.
Tip: if you removed an element by mistake, tick its checkbox again in Block settings, or click Undo in the top bar.
Editing images
You can replace, crop, resize and reposition images to make them look their best.
Editing icons
Some blocks contain icons that can be edited and replaced. Click an icon to activate its control panel, then click the smiley icon to open the Icon library with over 3,000 icons.
Creating text links
Elements like buttons and text can contain links, which can perform different actions – such as going to another block or page, starting a file download, or sending an email. Add and customise links in Link settings: click the button, or select the text you want to link, then click the chain icon in the element’s control panel.
