A frequently asked questions (FAQ) section is one of the best ways to help people visiting your site or using your product. With a ready-made FAQ block, you can create a relevant section – or a separate page – for common questions about your product or service.
This block also offers exclusive layouts with distinctive features and decorations that require Sitebuilder Large.
Adding an FAQ block
Find a suitable place for your FAQ block and click [+] Add a block. In the Block library, go to the FAQ section (scroll down or use the search field) and click a layout that suits your needs. The chosen layout then appears on your page.
Customising the block settings
Click anywhere on the block to activate the control panel, then click the Block Settings icon.
In the Layout section you can switch the block’s layout or hide some of its elements. To switch layout, click the relevant button and choose a new layout. To hide an element (for example, a button), untick the checkbox next to its name.
In the Appearance tab you can change:
- Block style: the block’s colour scheme.
- Block spacing: the space above and below the block.
- Content layout: the number of items per row.
- Content style: add borders and shadows to the block’s content.
Editing block elements
To move, delete or add more content containers to your layout, hover over one of them to activate its control panel. To edit the demo content, click the text element and type your new text.
Note: remember to click Save in the top right of the screen to keep your changes, and Publish to make them live.
