Loopia Sitebuilder has a built-in statistics page that shows how many people visit your site, where they come from and how they engage with it.
Opening your site’s statistics
Click the Main menu button in the top-left corner of Loopia Sitebuilder and find Statistics in the sidebar. Click it to open the statistics.
Note: the built-in visitor statistics are included in all Sitebuilder packages, so you don’t need to upgrade to see this page.
Navigating the statistics page
At the top of the statistics page you’ll see an overview of basic performance data – your site’s visitors and the share of new visitors among them, number of visits and page views. The overview also has a date picker with predefined time ranges and a custom range option.
Scroll down for detailed data. Hover over the icons next to the charts to see descriptive tooltips.
The metrics in detail:
- Visits: the number of individual sessions started by all visitors to your site. If a user is inactive for 30 minutes or more, any further activity counts as a new session. Users who leave and return within 30 minutes count as part of the original session.
- Visitors: unique visitors to your site, identified by IP address. One visitor can make several visits. Statistics also identify visitor types to help you manage your traffic: Researchers, Repeats, Prospects and Fans.
- New visitors: completely new visitors to your site. This can also be the same person visiting from a different location, and therefore a different IP address.
- Page views: each time a page is loaded in a browser. The total counts every page viewed, including repeat views of the same page.
- Landing pages: the pages visitors most often use to enter your site – useful for spotting areas to improve.
- Origin: where your visitors come from. If they typed your URL directly into the browser, they show as “Direct”.
- Engagement: all user interaction with your site. The engagement index combines activity such as page views, time on site and whether visitors completed a goal (signing up, filling in a contact form or placing an order). Higher engagement means visitors are interacting positively with your site.
Note: statistics aren’t shown in real time. Site statistics are delayed by 2 hours, and campaign statistics by 24 hours.
To track traffic in even more detail, you can also connect Google Analytics 4 to your site.
