When your navigation menu items reach the maximum width of the header, Loopia Sitebuilder automatically moves the extra items into a More submenu instead of adding a second row. You can control which links end up there by reordering the items in Navigation settings.
Loopia Sitebuilder gives you two ways to show more links in your navigation menu without cluttering the header:
- Create dropdown menus for menu items.
- Use a More submenu to group overflow navigation items.
This article covers the second option.
Controlling what goes in the More submenu
- Click the navigation area in the header to activate the Navigation settings menu.
- Click the folder tree icon to open Navigation settings.
- You’ll see a sortable list of your page links. To move items into the More submenu, drag and drop them to the bottom of the list.
- Click Submit to save.
If you have a large navigation menu and add a new page to the navigation, it goes into the More submenu automatically. This can also happen if your page titles in the navigation are too long. To change this, reorder the navigation menu items so the most important ones come first.
