How do you let visitors book appointments on your website in Loopia Sitebuilder?

You can let visitors book a time for meetings, visits or anything else time-bound by adding Date and Time fields to a contact form. The booking feature works with the Forms block or any other block with a form. You can add it to an existing page, or create a new page via the Page Manager, add it to the navigation for easy access, and then add a Forms block to the page.

Adding date and time to your form

  1. Once you’ve added the Forms block (or any other block containing a form) to your site, click the form to open Form settings. (If you’ve added a form widget to a Custom block, click the form and then the Form settings button in its control panel.)
  2. On the General tab you’ll see the Name, Email and Message fields. To add a Date field, click the blue (+) button.
  3. In the Add new item window, choose Date from the list of options.
  4. Fill in the Label field, which is required. You can also add placeholder text and tick Make required. Click Submit.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for the Time option if needed. You can also choose the time format with the matching radio button.
  6. Click Submit in Form settings and publish your site to make the changes live.

Now, when someone requests a meeting or booking on a specific date and time, you’ll receive a message at the address set in the form settings.

Tip: you can choose different Forms block layouts to add extra details for visitors – for example, what information is needed to book your service, details about the event, or a map to the location.
