Loopia Sitebuilder’s templates come with a predefined colour palette of complementary colour schemes. You can switch to a different predefined palette from the list so the site’s colours match your brand. The preset palette picker lets you adjust colour combinations in seconds, without having to mix and match colour variants manually.
Changing the colour palette for the whole site
- Click Design in the top bar and select Colours from the dropdown menu (or click the Menu button in the top left and select Design → Colours from the sidebar).
- Your current palette is shown at the top of the list on the Colours tab.
- Scroll down to see all the available palettes. Click a palette that matches your images and brand colours, and check how buttons and links look.
- Click Save to apply the change.
If none of the preset palettes are quite right, you can create your own. To assign custom colours, click the Settings icon for the palette and browse the available colours.
Changing the background of a single block
If you want to change the background of just one block without changing the whole site:
- Hover over the block to activate its control panel, then click the Block settings icon.
- Go to the Appearance tab and choose a background colour option under Block style. Note: the interface automatically adjusts the font colour to suit the new background, keeping it looking professional.
- Click Save to apply the change.
If you can’t find a colour you like for the block, you can also switch the site’s overall colour palette directly from the Appearance tab by clicking the (+) icon under Block style.
