We want to communicate with you in whichever channel you prefer, so we offer support by phone, email, chat and social media. This article explains which topics fit best in which channel, and the rules for our social media communities.
Which topics fit which channel?
General questions where others might benefit from the answer work well in open channels like our social media or blog comments.
Some topics are harder to handle well in those open channels. You’ll get better help via email, phone, chat, or a private message in the relevant channel for things like:
- Account-specific questions, such as settings or changes
- Specific invoice questions
- Help troubleshooting a CMS such as WordPress, Joomla or OpenCart
Never share your customer number in an open channel. Your customer number is sensitive – anyone who has it could contact us and make changes to your account.
Resolved threads in open channels that aren’t judged useful to others may be removed after two weeks.
Keep it civil
For everyone’s sake, we have the following rules for our social media communities. Posts that don’t follow them will be removed, and you risk being blocked from the channel.
- Keep a respectful, factual tone.
- We don’t allow swearing.
- We don’t allow personal attacks on people or companies.
- We don’t allow advertising or links to your own or others’ commercial services.
- Spreading misleading information about our services to deceive other users isn’t allowed.
