Loopiasecure.com

If you are currently using our *.loopiasecure.com solution for our shared SSL certificate on your website (eg https://domain-com.loopiasecure.com), you will need to update it according to the following instructions since the *.loopiasecure.com solution will be shut down by November 25, 2019.

1. Order and activate a new SSL certificate (optional)

If your website requires an SSL certificate (for example, if you run an e-commerce on your website) you can order a new, more modern SSL certificate directly in your Loopia Customer Zone. We recommend that you order and activate your new SSL certificate before the *.loopiasecure.com solution is shut down (November 25, 2019) so that you don’t have to complete the steps below twice.

Once your SSL certificate has been activated and installed for your website, you need to make your website respond to https://. To do this, use the following guides:

Enable Let’s Encrypt for your account – included in our business packages

If you have a Hosting Business or Hosting Business Plus package, we can also enable the SSL certificate Let’s Encrypt for your account for free (up to 50 certificates for Business packages and up to 200 certificates for Business Plus packages). Each domain in your account will then receive its own SSL certificate which we at Loopia will maintain and renew automatically. Contact support@loopia.com to enable Let’s Encrypt for your account.

2. Update your config file

If you’re using WordPress/WooCommerce:

Connect to our FTP server and download and edit the file in the following directory structure: /mindoman.se/public_html/wp-config.php

In this file, you need to find these two rows:

define('WP_HOME','https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com');
define('WP_SITEURL','https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com');

…and change them to:

define('WP_HOME','http://mindoman.se');
define('WP_SITEURL','http://mindoman.se');

Once you’ve changed and saved these rows, you upload the file to the same directory structure as above: /mindoman.se/public_html/wp-config.php.

If you’re using OpenCart:

Connect to our FTP server and download and edit the file in the following directory structure: mindoman.se/public_html/admin/config.php

Find these four rows:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com/admin/');
define('HTTP_CATALOG', 'https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com/');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com/admin/');
define('HTTPS_IMAGE', 'https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com/image/');

…and change them to:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://mindoman.se/admin/');
define('HTTP_CATALOG', 'http://mindoman.se/');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'http://mindoman.se/admin/');
define('HTTPS_IMAGE', 'http://mindoman.se/image/');

You also need to change the file in /mindoman.se/public_html/config.php. Find these two rows:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com/');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://mindoman-se.loopiasecure.com/');

…and change them to:

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://mindoman.se/');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'http://mindoman.se/');

Once you’ve changed and saved these rows, you upload the files to the same directory structure as before: mindoman.se/public_html/admin/config.php.

Done! You can now visit the website at the new https:// URL.
